Pioneer Lake Cabin. Rustic living off the grid

This hand crafted log cabin is located 27 kms off of highway 5 on Pioneer Lake. This accommodation is remote , not suitable for day trips to Jasper. It is about one hours travel to get to a paved highway. PLEASE NOTE: You need a vehicle with clearance. An SUV or pickup truck. This is suitable for those who love the outdoors, quiet nature and knowledgeable about back-country living. In the middle of some of the greatest snowmobiling in BC, deep snow country, awesome sledding tours from here.

Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

This home is by the swift creek trail head at the end of a dead-end street, it's located on the outskirts of town yet just a 10-minute walk to 5th Ave shops, restaurants and the grocery store. IMPORTANT NOTE: This property is near active train tracks. Trains pass by frequently, If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to sound, please take this into account when booking.
