Quarry View is a quirky, comfortable property nestled in the woods in Pontesbury. Comfortably sleeping 2 with the option of a travel cot/camp bed for a child if needed. Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. Miller's Loft is one of 2 apartments on the 2nd floor of this beautiful Grade 2 Listed Corn Mill. It has been sympathetically renovated with high ceilings and oak beams and a quirky fun modern touch. The apartment overlooks the field and very comfortable and cosy, with open plan living space and fun mezzanine with double bed, which feels like you are sleeping in a tree house! The apartment also has a small bunk bed room and shower room. Its perfect for couples, solo adventurers and families.

The Welsh border is only a few miles away which acts as a gateway to Mid & North Wales. Rowton Castle wedding venue is 2.6 miles away, which is 6 mins by car.

Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.
