This uniquely designed cabin (co-created with architect Akiko Kobayashi) is a rural dream pad. Perfect for a quiet getaway, a romantic hideout or a base to explore the beauty of Fife. With a separate dedicated workspace it’s also a perfect place to write or create something special (or even to keep a hand in at work, not recommended!). Step out onto the famous 'Fife Coastal Path' and explore miles of walking tracks. Being perfectly positioned in between St Andrews and the beautiful 'East Neuk'; it's the ideal base to discover all Fife has to offer - world class golf, sandy beaches, delicious local food, and lots of fresh sea air! Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has fantastic food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. Fine dining at the Boar's Head in nearby Auchtermuchty.

The Secret Orchard is a self-contained apartment. Matt (your host) lives above. Built around 1685 it has many historic features. It has been home to three famous artists from 1848 to 1920. It sits within a large walled garden which has an orchard, cute hens, two ponds, a large trampoline and a sun-trap patio. Two minutes from the Fife Coastal Path and beach and a large park to cycle around. Dysart Harbour featured on Outlander and is very historic.
