Welcome to River's Rest! Situated on 4 private acres and overlooking the Cosumnes River, this cabin has it all! Swim in the river during the day and let its gentle sounds usher you off to sleep at night. Unwind with a nap in the hammock, or let your cares drift away in the hot tub/sauna. More of a doer? Check out the winery scene less than 20 minutes away in Fairplay, or head into downtown Placerville for a peek into history and a great meal. Additional highlights include pool table & Ping Pong.

This old miner's cabin, which has been completely renovated inside, is located in the heart of Apple Hill, in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and overlooks a small meadow and creek. Walk to nearby apple farms, breweries & wineries or just relax on the back deck and enjoy the scenery. Visit historic Placerville, its art galleries, restaurants, antique shops & more! Raft, ski, kayak, or just explore our 40-acre farm trails! (We are pet-friendly.)

Cabin at Lake Vera, Nevada City

APRIL 2025: LAKE IS FULL. Lake levels drop in August. Cabin at Lake Vera is a 600 sq ft cabin located in the old campgrounds of Camp Watanda. The cabin has been updated for use as a vacation rental. Our site is only a few minutes from town but sits within the forested area providing you with a wonderful outdoor experience. It's only a 1 min walk to the lake with partial lake views from the cabin. Canoes and kayaks provided. 2 day min, 3 day min for any Holiday creating a 3-day weekend.

Mama Bear's Cabin

This charming, upgraded 2 bd/1ba log cabin, is perfect for 2 to 4 guests, (or young family of 5). 3.5 mi. from Yuba River's Purdon Crossing and 2.5 miles from Nevada City. The full-size kitchen is well equipped. A large deck with private hot tub off main room. The laundry room sits at the back of the cabin. It is a lovely open forest setting with occasional wild critters visiting. Note*: Bad cell service. Wifi is AT&T DSL that is good for emails and such, but not for streaming or zooming.
