Our luxurious and romantic cottage with a fabulous Superking bed is the perfect retreat for visitors to Manchester and the Peaks who want a relaxing holiday in a spectacular setting. Nestled in a conservation area of the Heaton Mersey Valley, it is a little piece of country in the town. It is surrounded by beauty spots, parks, nature reserve, shops, restaurants, transport links and a nearby pub. Among the leafy suburbs of south Manchester, Chorlton-cum-Hardy has a reputation as a diverse, liberal community; home to many of Manchester’s creatives. The house is just 300m from the main Manchester Road through central Chorlton, is a short stroll from Beech Road and the Green; with its popular independent traders, bars, coffee shops, cafés, restaurants; there's plenty to amuse you locally, and the bright lights of Manchester city-centre are easily reached by taxi, Metrolink tram, or bus.

Whatever your reasons to visit the area -you can experience true countryside living in one of our log chalets – your home away from home. (Both chalets can be booked together) The chalets nestle in the tree tops looking up to the hills of Saddleworth and and down over the River Tame and canal of Uppermill. With a 2 minute walk into the vibrant village and walking distance of Dovestones and scenic walks.

Dove Cottage.

Welcome to our cute converted stone outbuilding in a quiet part of the village which is a small village on the Woodhead Pass on the edge of Manchester and the Peak District. It is ideally situated for walkers enjoying the Pennine Way and Longdendale Trail. There are good road and public transport links to the village. Guests will have the privacy of the cottage but we are available in our family home opposite. Additional fees are added for early check in and check out

Frankie's Cottage

Set in the hillside of Greenfield, Saddleworth. The cottage is situated on our family farm where we have a variety of animals: horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Due to the potential dangers we ask that guests do not access the yard and use the designated path to the cottage. The cottage has been recently renovated and features a wood burning stove and open wooden beams which has retained traditional character
