The Lake Cottage Retreat

We designed our cottage as a place to find rest, peace and restoration. Your cozy retreat awaits at Lake Loramie next to the state park. Start your mornings sipping coffee or tea outside and then take a walk around the picturesque lake or find your own fishing spot. Kayaks are available to rent nearby. Relax in the hammocks or sit around a campfire. In the colder season, cozy up to the electric fireplace, work on a puzzle, play games, read or watch a movie. We hope you find restoration here.

Our outside boasts stunning lake views and sunsets, easy water access, and FREE firewood for your evening campfires! You'll never run out of things to do with the Visitor Center walkable up the street…Come and see the new Eagles nest display today and make some memories!

Tarhe Cottage at Indian Lake

Beautiful Indian Lake is within steps of your cottage. Greet each morning with amazing sunrises over the lake. A 3 mile bike/walking path is located just steps from your front door. Old Field Beach and boat docks are also located nearby. Furnished with ample space for large groups. Swimming pool, (opened Memorial day to Labor Day) playground, basketball court and stocked fishing ponds are all located on our grounds. Property consists of 2 vacation rentals and a small RV park/campground.

Mimi's Place

Private relaxing cottage in a north side neighborhood of Indian Lake called Chippewa. The cottage is a short walk to the Chippawa boat dock and several blocks from the Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles. A short drive to many fun destinations at the lake including Buckeye Pizza, Froggy's, Acheson's Resort and Tilton Hilton. Large patio for outdoor relaxation to include dining table and rockers for four guest. Cottage has a semi-private back yard with fire pit.

Make memories at this inviting, family-friendly home. This home offers the perfect getaway with enough space for everyone including custom built-in bunks. Close to shops, restaurants, and water activities or enjoy the outdoor grill and fire pit - the Lazy Duck offers it all! We also offer different welcome packages! Situated on the edge of Indian Lake State Park, this 3 bedroom vacation rental has all the essentials for lakeside fun! Boasting a full kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace, walkable access to Blackhawk marina and public boat launch, and centrally located for all other area amenities. Checkout the lake with an Indian Lake Pontoon rental or from Oldfield Beach. During the winter months, head to Avalanche Tubing Park or Mad River Mountain.

The Cottage at Indian Lake

Our place is located on a channel with easy access to the main lake, many restaurants and Old Field Beach. You’ll love our place because of the location, cottage feel, fenced in yard with a stamped concrete patio and fire pit. Kayaks, outdoor dining set, fire pit utensils, Blackstone griddle and Culligan water. While we do have well water, we also had a new water softener and water heater installed in 2022.
