Historic General Store B&B (The Entire Place!)

Country stores were once the center of rural and business life. This place is no ordinary rental. The vibe is part pool hall, part jail (seriously!), and overall, totally unique. The Old Brownsburg Store B&B is located in Historic Brownsburg, once a stagecoach stop between Staunton and Lexington, and has been modernized to provide all the comforts of home and necessities of travel while still holding onto the feeling that you’ve just walked into an episode of ‘The Andy Griffith Show’.

Makana O Kalani Farmstead Barn Studio

The studio is in a working 1890’s German bank barn with horses, chickens and a rescue dog. The farm sits 7 1/2 miles from the charming town of Staunton. There are no other visible houses. In the spring, fireflies are as amazing as the night sky on a clear night. I try not to add to light pollution and try to be green and organic. Studio not good for children. Read further about mobility concerns. From 11-17-21 through 12-30-21 please only book two weekend night stays.

Perched above Wildwood Park and the North River, the Loft at Wildwood offers an escape from the everyday grind. We partner with local favorite Sugar & Bean Café in Bridgewater, where you can go and enjoy breakfast on us (Mon-Fri 7am-5pm; Sat 8am-5pm.) The Loft is close to national forest, hiking and biking trails, fishing and paddling opportunities, and a number of local wineries and restaurants. Bridgewater College, JMU and EMU are all close by.

A relaxing getaway in the quaint village of Weyer's Cave (/ˈwɪərz/ WEERZ), in a charming century old home. Just 5 minutes from Interstate 81 and Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport (SHD), location is convenient to Harrisonburg, Staunton, Rockingham and Augusta Counties. Universities/Colleges nearby include MBU, EMU, BC, JMU and BRCC. Google Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for Hiking, biking, cave exploration and so much more nearby.
