Cedar’s Rest

Welcome to Cedar’s Rest. Nestled in between surrounding Cedars, centered in a 26 acre hayfield just minutes from the blue ridge parkway. Read a book while lying on the hammock listening to all the beautiful sounds of nature. It’s great for birding and watching wildlife. Two bedrooms with plush King beds. Full bathroom with walk-in shower, full sized stove, and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Grill, WIFI and television! Outside you can enjoy a covered deck or sit around the fire pit.

‼️PLEASE NOTE: The driveway is well-maintained gravel, but it is steep. To preserve its condition and avoid getting spinning tires, 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended. Thank you for your understanding!‼️ Woody’s is the perfect place to rest and relax. This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

Green Needles Christmas Tree Farm Cabin/Lynchburg

Our cabin is 600 sq ft with a large covered porch. We have 1 queen size bed, a double & single bunk combination, and full kitchen. We have 2 sources of heat, propane and electric both which make some noise when they run. 42 acres of Christmas trees, wooded trails, a stream that runs throughout the property, foot bridge and fields. A short 10 min hike will take you to our Ridge with a gazebo. We are 25 min from LU, 15 min from the Lynchburg area and 15 min from the Blue Ridge Pkwy.

'Cruising Altitude' is a peaceful waterfront cabin and dock on no-wake cove. Dog friendly! Beautiful and relaxing setting with a spectacular view. High speed internet for remote working. Safe, quiet 60-acre cove is the ideal location for water activities such as swimming, floating, kayaking, canoeing. The main channel is a short boat ride away for high-speed fun. Mitchell's Marina is the closest boat ramp on the lake, a 15 minute boat ride and 10 minute drive away.
