There is no lake access at the cottage, private dock is available at our home a few doors down. Wintertime: 4 miles to ski & snowboard Boyne Mtn, Avalanche indoor waterpark too! 9.6 miles to Jordan Valley snowmobile parking. Bring your kayaks and your fishing poles - nice deck to watch the sunset. Dogs are welcome for an additional one time fee of $35.00. There is no fence and because this house is on the lake dogs and children must be watched at all times.

** Bookings now available 6 months in advance ** Morel Cottage is a cozy 650sq ft, completely renovated, a-frame. It is perfect for singles, couples or a small group. The cottage features an open concept with a spiral staircase to the loft bedroom. There is a log queen bed upstairs and a roll away, queen, raised air mattress available for additional sleeping in the living space. Standard amenities are provided with full laundry on site.

Idyl Daes Cottage

Idyl Daes Cottage was built in the 1950s on the Tunnel of Trees Scenic Heritage Route which follows Lake Michigan’s stunning shoreline to Cross Village. It is located two miles from downtown Harbor Springs and is close to a number of spectacular beaches and hiking trails. The large field stone fireplace is perfect for cool evenings and the spacious screened porch is ideal for relaxing summer evenings with lake breezes.
