Climb a ladder to a secret loft in a dreamy white-on-white room and get the feeling of sleeping in a cloud. There's plenty of space to spread out on polished white floors, including a full kitchen and dining table big enough for entertaining guests.
The home is permitted via Nashville Metro permit # 2/0/1/8/0/0/3/8/4/2
House has access to salt water pool from April - October. The pool is heated April - May and September - October.
Relax by the pool and soak up the Nashville sun. The cottage is minimally furnished with locally sourced furniture and filled with one of a kind art I've collected from my travels.
Fully equipped kitchen with small balcony overlooking pool. Open Studio feel, with vaulted ceilings, with a handmade wooden ladder leading to the Queen Loft Space. One King Size bed with one Queen size bed in the loft space. Sofa is also cozy and great for sleeping. All bedding provided. One full sized shower and bathroom with an old vintage trough sink.
The ceilings are vaulted with thoughtful wood working throughout. This gives the space a very relaxing, romantic feel. You can utilize the kitchen to cook for yourselves. Turnip Truck, our local grocery, is within walking distance or you can rent bicycles on 10th street and cycle down. Don't forget to stop at our local wine store, Woodland Wine, for some amazing vino to go with your meal.
You can also walk to other wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood if you don't feel like cooking. After dinner make sure to stroll around our charming neighborhood filled with beautifully restored homes and shops. It's as if you stepped out of a different time period.
East Nashville has become a local gathering place for artists, restauranteurs, and neighborhood families. It is a wonderful, eclectic neighborhood filled with heart and personality. Our cottage is within walking distance of many of the local hot spots.
East Nashville has been featured as a culinary and style destination by the likes of GQ, The New York Times, and Travel and Leisure. The cottage is very close walking vicinity (5 min) to:

My family does use the pool as well in the summer however we will be respectful when guests are in the cottage.
You can access the cottage from the back alley and park behind the house. You access the cottage from the gate.

The guesthouse is in the heart of the Five Points neighborhood in historic East Nashville. It's a walkable area just five minutes from downtown. Walk to bars and restaurants, and rent a bike to tour nearby Shelby Park.
