A spacious and comfortable house situated in the heart of the south wales valleys. A fully renovated 3 bedroom house in the centre of Beaufort that also has retained some of the features from when it used to be a local pub “ The Rising Sun” in the 1950’s What’s around us? We are located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons national park and within traveling distance of the following. Bike Park Wales Pen-y-Fan , Sugar Loaf , Skirrid Big Pit We are also located a 4min drive to the train station.

A purpose-built lodge/bunkhouse designed for mountain biking (MTB), walking and outdoor activities set in the foothills below the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) bordering Cwmcarn MTB area and near Bike Park Wales. Sleeps 12 in 3 bedrooms with a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Nestled in a small valley on Mynydd Maen with stunning views and with direct access to the mountain for walking and biking. Located on a small historic family farm making award-winning Welsh cider.

Our three bedroom property is a short 10 minute walk from the adventurous Cwmcarn forest drive, where there are a range of activities for all of the family. There is a direct link train near by which takes you directly into Cardiff city centre. Our property has one king size master room and two single twin rooms. We have a large living room and dining room and a brand new modern kitchen and bathroom. We have also added a utility room fitted with bike racks and charging points for e-bikes.

The Cwtch is an annexe adjoining our self build stone bungalow that is surrounded by beautiful countryside, that is within easy access to The Brecon Beacons and World Heritage site Blaenavon etc. The property is well equipped, the property is accessed through the light and airy conservatory adjoining the kitchen. Your personal space will include conservatory, kitchen, lounge, bedroom and en-suite. Please to aware that there is a shared space where the laundry area is located.

Ty Pentref is nestled right in the heart of of Cwmcarn village, very close to the beautiful Cwmcarn Scenic Drive, mountain biking trails and Twmbarlwm walks. We are less than 20 miles from Cardiff City. Within a 1 Hr drive, you can reach Cardiff Bay, Wye Valley, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) Forest of Dean, Bristol and Hereford. A little further, approx and hour and 20 mins you can visit beautiful beaches and towns in the Mumbles and The Gower.
