Come enjoy our super private, fully renovated "Mid-Century Modern Compound" in the historic neighborhood of Hammond Wood, located just 5 miles from the Washington, DC border and one mile from the Wheaton Metro stop. Originally designed by renowned architect Charles Goodman, this 2-bedroom/1-bathroom home was meticulously restored by Cook Architecture. The result is a comfortable balance of contemporary functionality and original design elements that pays homage to the home's significant history.

Private guest suite in a newly remodeled home

We welcome you to a spacious and private basement apartment with its own entrance and self check-in. Get cozy with your guests in a space that has a bedroom with a king-size bed, an 85-inch smart TV, soft sectional , private toilet, bathroom and kitchenet, all in the same space. None of the amenities are shared. The fully-equipped kitchenet has everything you'll need to cook and warm your meals. Guest suite is the entire basement apartment which is a part of a bigger home where host lives.

Silver Spring Little Oasis - near DC/private

Ideal location to see all the sites in our nation's capital. Conveniently located one mile from two Metro stops. If you're in town for work or to see family, go to a show or simply to explore, this is a great place to rest your feet. Walk to Silver Spring and Takoma Park for neighborhoods. The space is the lower level of a 1920s bungalow. I live upstairs - you have your own entrance with a private bathroom, bedroom, sitting area and patio. Open to COVID 19 Responders. Woodland Retreat

Welcome to our private woodland retreat! This stylish and secluded mid-century modern guesthouse is nestled on five acres in horse country in Highland, Maryland. Totally separate from our owners home, our guesthouse combines the serenity, privacy, and safety you crave with all the conveniences of modern life including: a full bath; kitchenette; internet; and a screened porch with access to our beautiful lighted and heated swimming pool (weather permitting) and adjacent walking trails.

This is not your typical generic rental, we display our art collection, custom furniture, accessories and books. The relaxed curated design is our personality and passions. Very quiet and private. Have fun with our turntable and vintage vinyl. Hop on the Metro or jump on the highway, but you won't know they are there. Relax by hundreds of native plants, the backyard waterfall and fire pit. Pets must be on leash to protect baby plants while they get established. Pricing varies with # of guests (8 max).
