Only 35 minutes drive to Aoraki Mt Cook, 30 minutes from lake Tekapo and 13 minutes to twizel Pukaki lakeside getaway cottage is completely self contained, with wi-fi and all linen is provided. We recommend bringing your own food for cooking as Whataroa has limited eating options however there’s several restaurants available only 25 min drive into Franz Josef. Walking distance to local wineries. The cottage is separate to our house, which is set on approx 10 acres of land.

Stay in our cosy self contained cottage in the village of Staveley on the Inland Scenic route Highway 72. We are close to conservation parks, local walking tracks including the Sharplins fall track , Staveley Ice skating rink and Mt Hutt ski field. Methven is just 15 minutes drive. Ideal for couples, trampers, adventurers, and families. Families with toddlers need to be aware that a small creek runs through the property.
