This rural getaway will delight those looking to get away from it all. With over 13 acres to enjoy and 200ft of pebble beach facing the quaint town of Baddeck. This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home with warm modern decor will delight and relax you. Morning yoga on the dock, a grounding forest bath, or simply enjoy the sound of silence: this retreat will calm the soul. Down the path to the beach you will find two single kayaks waiting for you. Adult life jackets are provided. Signed waiver required, 18+

MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. Private downstairs 2-bedroom basement apartment located in the quiet community of South Bar. Take advantage of the view and great sunsets with a relaxing stroll down to the shore. Apartment is well suited for 2 couples, a small family or solo travelers. We cannot allow pets in our Airbnb…we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. Full size newly renovated kitchen available for cooking meals or prepping a light snack. Washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.
