The Owl’s Nest A-frame

Mangata Mactaquac wants you to leave all your stress behind when you stay at our cabin in the woods. We are located on a beautiful property with streams, waterfall, wood fired hot tub, hiking, biking, and outdoor fire pit with cooking grill and more. Our cabins are situated just steps to the hiking trails of Mactaquac Provincial Park. The Owl’s Nest has all the comforts of home, while providing you with one of the most beautiful places to relax in the area. We also have two other cabins!

This is a very spacious and comfortable home. You get the country experience with still the luxury of being fifteen minutes from local shopping areas and thirty five minutes from the city of Fredericton. We have a nice large yard for your enjoyment. You will enjoy the peace and quiet while also enjoying nature. Also we live 30 mins from Crabbe Mountain and if you are a snowboarder/skier you will love this hill. We also have a swimming pool, to cool you off on those hot days.

The main house has a hot tub that is private and for your enjoyment during your stay where you can enjoy the breathtaking Saint John River view. A cozy cabin nestled next to the Taxis River. Relax on the front porch with a hot cup of coffee while watching the Taxis River flow by. This cabin has all the amenities of a home, but situated in the calm and serenity of the country. Get away and just relax, run the river in the canoe, or enjoy the extensive snowmobile and atv trails. The perfect place to leave stress behind and enjoy a restful getaway. Pets are always welcome.
