Our one-bedroom cottage sits in the middle of over 25 acres of the beautiful Florida Nature Coast. Even though we are secluded, we have all the comforts of home, from indoor plumbing and hot water to AC and Wi-Fi. Our TV has a Firestick, so bring your Netflix or Disney+ account and stream away your nights after you retire from roasting Smores on the outdoor firepit. A self-Inflating bed takes this from a 2 person cottage to 4 in just minutes. Parking is not an issue, even if you have a trailer.

The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

This one bedroom house offers one queen bed and a pull-out sofa to sleep a total of 4 people. The house offers a private boat ramp, docks, and quick access to the gulf. Includes Wifi, 2TVs, washer/drier, fire pit, grill, coffee maker. Enjoy sunsets, nature walks, and fishing from the docks. Clean, Clean, Clean! EVERYTHING is washed after each guest including sheets, towels, All blankets, bed comforters, and even decorative pillow cases. All handles, knobs, remotes and shower are sanitized.

Bear Necessities Tiny Home

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. This is a perfect romantic retreat but would also be a great place to unwind on a solo journey. Sit on the shaded-open patio and enjoy the fountain and nature. Biking, hiking, boating, fishing, relaxing, and/or exploring are all available here. Among others, visit Rainbow River, The World Equestrian Center, Hernando Lake, and Crystal River. Dine on the water at Stumpknockers, Blue Gator, or Stumpys restaurants. See you soon.

Barn Style Tiny Home in Crystal River, FL

Stay on a rescue farm near springs, rivers, and beaches! Tube down a river. Hammocked under trees, the barn offers a refuge sweet fainting goats, ducks, chickens, piggies, an outdoor HOT shower and compost toilet. Adventures, fishing, while manatees, dolphins, and other wildlife can be spotted near (some on-site) year-round. Sit by a fire and relax in Adirondack chairs, hammock or at a picnic table. Bring water toys, kayaks, ATVs, RV/trailer, boats, and fur babies for the ultimate getaway!

This charming house is located on nearly an acre of woodland. Fish from the dock of the screen room on the canal or kayak to the nearby lake. Relax in the private backyard Jacuzzi. Bike on the nearby Withlacoochee Trail. There are 2 bedrooms plus living room sleeper sofa, and a lanai with a day bed. Fully furnished. Orlando theme parks are 1 1/2 hour away, Busch Gardens 1 hour. Close to Weeki Wachee, Homosassa and Crystal River for manatee viewing or scallop season.

Wake up in the morning and open the patio doors to hear the birds singing and greet the cows while enjoying a hot cup of coffee in an adirondack chair. Enjoy the evenings with a bonfire and cook out using our outdoor kitchenette. Our fully fenced yard allows your fuzzy friend to roam free while you relax!
