Absolute peace and one with nature. No roads in sight from cabin, sans driveway. Direct access out the back door to a beautiful waterfall, hiking trails, and a 14er (Mt. Princeton). Unobstructed views of mountains and wildlife. Listen to the brook as it flows through property. In middle of wilderness, but close to amenities. Soothe your weary self in the Hot Springs brand private hot tub with lounger off back deck gazing at the billions of stars above. Firepit with seating (bring own firewood).

The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!

Or, bike or walk toward town for Turner Farm music, BV's restaurants and shopping a mile to the east and the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond.

This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is just one block south of Main Street and a few blocks west of the Arkansas River. The bungalow has just the basics for those looking to unplug for a bit. This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. Authentic Vintage Log Cabin nestled between Mt Antero and Mt Princeton in Chalk Creek Canyon. 1 pass to Mt Princeton Hot Springs with every 1 night stay and 2 passes with 2 or more nights ($90 value). Streaming WIFI. Dogs are welcome if declared and never left alone (uncrated) or allowed on furniture. Enjoy your private acre bordered by Love Meadow on one side and Chalk Creek on the other.
