Holmlea - A Comfortable and Cosy Cottage For Two.

Holmlea is a traditional stone built Dales cottage dating back to the late 1700s situated in the village of Mickleton. Perfect for a couple, the accommodation consists of one bedroom , cosy sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and modern shower room . There is a pretty garden with a bbq area and also a storage shed suitable for storing bicycles. Mickleton is a small village close to both Barnard Castle and Middleton - in - Teesdale .There are good country pubs close by and scenic walks .

You WILL LOVE THIS PLACE if you like walking, cycling, fishing, birdwatching, wildlife, botany, star gazing or just relaxing and soaking up the views.

Low Green Barn, located in Tranquil Teesdale

Low Green Barn is a converted barn, attached to our family home and located in the middle of the village of Mickleton. Before booking, please bear in mind we offer limited cooking facilities, with no oven or grill. We can provide you with local recommendations for eating out. Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.

A beautiful location for walking, cycling and exploring Teesdale or further (Lake District in approx. 40 mins). Cotherstone has 2 country pubs, & Barnard Castle is a lively market town with many independent retailers, restaurants & cafes.
