10 years of love and affection went into building our 2 bedroom custom home. Sticking with natural products to blend together the beauty of the surrounding area. Lay in bed at night and listen to river that runs the entire length of the property. The house has a full kitchen with seating for 6. Spacious living room for relaxing or admiring one of the many birds that visit all year round. Two upstairs bedrooms and office space. Walkout basement with full entertainment area, hot tub,exercise room.

Silk Purse Cottage on Baker Brook

The "Silk Purse" started life in the 60's as a 10x40 mobile home. Its placement next to Baker Brook offers a private view out of every window and easy vehicle access. The screened porch is a relaxing place to have coffee or cocktails. Extra windows add interior light in this shaded woodland setting, and a beautiful 12x14 addition with a skylight and a full wall of glass give an unobstructed, private view of the stream. 20 minutes to Brattleboro, 30 to Stratton, 25 to Mt. Snow, 40 to Magic Mt!

Hot Breakfast and Lunch INCLUDED every day in your stay. Our general store, located 5 minutes away, will make you fresh egg sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. For lunch, come in and get fresh made subs or our famous brick oven pizza slices. A perfect getaway for couples, friends, or family in every season. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, ice skating and boating on serene Sadawga Lake. It's a quick drive to skiing at Mount Snow, shopping and dining in Wilmington, and direct access to the VAST trail.

Mountain Chalet: Private Brook - Hot Tub - Firepit

The Brook House Vermont is set back in the trees and unbelievably cozy. It's a place to reconnect while listening to the brook. To enjoy big meals, conversations, and games by the fireplace. To bask in the sun or do yoga on the deck, or gaze into dark, starry skies from the hot tub and fire pit at night. There's skiing mins away at Mount Snow, swimming at Harriman Reservoir, as well as hiking, golf, mountain biking, antiquing, breweries, and some of the best food VT has to offer.

Silver Brook Cabin

Waterfront setting in a relaxing, but convenient, location in southeastern Vermont. Photos and captions do the best job of describing our cabin, adjacent brook, and very nearby Green River with its covered bridge and swimming holes. The cabin is 20 minutes from Brattleboro with its many restaurants, shops, movie theater, and galleries. Not only is the immediate area wonderful for swimming, biking, and hiking, you can also simply relax with a good book or two.

Your family will be close to everything at this sunny, centrally located home on the Whetstone Brook. Just 0.6 miles from downtown Brattleboro, you can walk to shops, cafés, galleries, and more. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, the house offers a peaceful place to relax after a day of exploring. Listen to the brook from the backyard, enjoy local adventures, and settle into a space that feels like home—perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer Vermont stay.

**Happy Hour! Gorgeous & Modern Downtown Retreat**

Come enjoy our beautiful apartment above our liquor store in downtown Wilmington! Lots of local shops and dining right in town! We are along a river and next to a hiking trail system! Walking distance to the serene 10+ mile lake; kayaks, stand-up paddle boards or motor boat/jet ski rentals nearby. In the winter, enjoy local trails on snowshoes or cross-country skies; only 15 minutes to Mount Snow! We look forward to meeting you!!!

Stunning mid-century house on 2.5 private acres

Stay at our relaxing, mid-century retreat! The house was built in the 60s but has modern amenities. A 4-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended. Our house is conveniently located 7 miles from Stratton and 12 miles from the outlets/restaurants in Manchester. Floor to ceiling windows provide a stunning view of the property. Please note, the house has a non-working fireplace.

This is a place for those who are looking to enjoy a peaceful mountain escape with modern conveniences and who love the outdoors. This private wooded 3-acre Southern Vermont property borders Green Mountain National Forest (not a main entrance) and nearby a wide variety of outdoor destinations.
