Welcome to the Kinsol Cabin! This modern & eco-built cabin is a retreat by the lake. Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts of every kind. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

A quintessential northwest log cabin, tastefully appointed, boasting lots of charm. Located 1.3 miles from the Friday Harbor ferry terminal it offers the convenience of town just around the corner and a bucolic pastoral valley setting and view. Located in Jordan River you hit the sweet spot with this newly built cabin specially designed for the location to maximize outdoor space, expansive ocean views and privacy. Some things you’ll love about this little gem are the large cedar sun deck, wood burning stove and stargazing (or ocean gazing!) from the cedar hot tub for two. After a day of adventuring you can also curl up and enjoy a movie in the TV zone upstairs.

AMAZING WATERVIEW CABIN! This is the place to come during Coronavirus! It’s clean, sanitized with antibacterial wipes, private, and you can prepare your own meals. While on the ferry you can stay in your car for protection. Also, I’ve gone to a self check in policy for our protection, and provide an annotated map with directions to my favorite places and hikes.
