Z Shack

Z Shack is part of local history. In the 1940’s concrete barracks were built for Camp Gordon Johnston to house soldiers training for D-Day off the shores of Dog Island. Z Shack is part of what was once barracks, now a renovated condo. This unit is nestled in the middle of a row of condos with privacy fencing on both sides. Our unit is small dog friendly, but each pup visitor must be approved before booking. Sorry, no cats, we love them too but the litter box mess is too hard to keep clean.

Corner townhouse in the High Cotton Marketplace. Watch shrimp boats pass from the spacious balcony. Browse shops & sip coffee - all within our building! Sony OLED tv's, Stearns & Foster king beds, king sleeper sofa & a fully appointed gourmet kitchen. Free bikes, beach towels, umbrellas & chairs. Near a live music venue, so consider before booking. Max occupancy is 6 + infant. Not suitable for toddlers. Prefer kids 12 & over. No pets. Service animals require pre-booking approval. Contact host.

Walk to Beach & Attractions! Remodeled & Spacious

Family Tides, an exceptionally spacious home, is located in the center of the island. It is a 3-minute walk to the public beach, lighthouse, playground, basketball & SGI museum. It offers quick access to restaurants, gift shops, Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream and other shops. About a block from the home is Island Outfitters (beach rental equip.) and Island Dog Outdoors. There are plenty of beaches nearby, including the main public beach and the State Park which covers the east portion of the island.

Paradise awaits you in this rustic getaway. Island Time a located on Timber Island in a gated community on Carrabelle River. Mile to town & Carrabelle Beach. PCB 1.5 hour, St George Island, Apalachicola, Cape San Blas & Mexico Beach as you make your way. All you need on the Forgotten Coast. Carrabelle is known for the best fishing. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking from private boat dock or upper deck. Perfect for lil getaway for 2 or 4. Queen air mattress available upon request.
