This is a free-standing home built specifically as a vacation rental cottage in early 2020. It is a quiet, comfortable space in a rural setting with a private patio and views of the Sierra foothills. It is a perfect spot for a family or couple wanting to visit the National Parks nearby (80 min. to Yosemite, 120+ to Sequoia and Kings Canyon). That being said, please read further to learn why there are so many photos of rattlesnakes in my listing. All good things come with inherent challenges...

My place is located in a lively part of Mariposa and is close to nightlife with pubs near to home, restaurants, grocery store , novelty stores, public transportation, the town center, parks, gym,community pool and history center. You’ll love my clean cozy home because of the comfy bed and and just being steps from restaurants, shops and pubs. You will love the ability to park and wander the historic downtown on foot or to catch the Yarts bus into Yosemite! My place is great for a couple.

Adorable A frame house close to Yosemite (32 miles), Bass Lake (23 miles), Sequoia, and Kings Canyon! Our cute 2 bedroom cottage is the perfect spot to relax after a day trip to the lake or park. We have a fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, bbq and patio set for outdoor eating. The house is equipped with wifi, 2 AC units (upstairs & down) and space heaters. 10 minutes to downtown Mariposa, 50 minutes to Yosemite west side entrance (Arch Rock) and 80 mins to Yosemite Valley. Relax in this cozy charmer surrounded by rolling hills in a peaceful country setting. This thoughtfully crafted home has all the amenities and upscale features to make your trip comfortable as well as the country appeal you'd expect in a quaint mountain area. The drive to Yosemite from the house is pretty scenic and an enjoyable experience on its own.

Hilltop Cottage, walk to bars/restaurants!

Hilltop Cottage is a private home on a hilltop in the quaint mountain town of Mariposa. During the summer months you can sit out on our deck and listen to Music On the Green in the Mariposa Art Park while enjoying a glass of one of our local wines.
