We will also charge $ 50 for guest #8. We also request that you bring an air mattress as we do have have this. Please ask us about your special arrangement as we are not set up and don't want you to be disappointed... For the gym, we live 2 blocks from the YMCA so you and your family can always sign up to be guests during your stay if you like. - You prepare your own meals :D in a stunning new kitchen and top appliances and if you can, please put all dishes in dishwasher - Bosch will do the dishes ! :) - You are welcome to bring your own foods and put them in trash bags as appropriate - we have a recycled & trash can separately - The linens, bedding, towels are placed in closets’ drawers - Assorted brand of wellness & grooming amenities are in the drawers of your bathroom - Laundry space houses an iron/ ironing board/ swifter (swifter cloths are underneath the sink left hand side or in linen closet) - Kitchen also has a swifter behind the tall cabinet - Please give your plants a drink of water if you stay longer than 3 days – they thrive on it :D -We make certain non-toxic cleaning products with premium essential oils for our cleaning team to use and for our guests to enjoy (when we can) Thank you so much in your mindful participation to maintaining while enjoying our space :) we appreciate your efforts! The entire home will be exclusively yours except the GARAGE please. This is for the hosts to use. We reside next door. Happy to share restaurant recommendations, etc.! Guests receive 5 star ratings when respectful of the home! The home is in San Pedro (SP), which is a small, quiet port town. The waterfront is famous for historic Battleship Iowa, San Pedro Fish Market, and maritime museums. Cruises, restaurants, and shops abound there. San Pedro is also accessible to the southern beach cities. Welcome to legendary traffic famous in LA : D San Pedro is on both a local and a city-wide bus line, but public transportation can be difficult and time-consuming. Uber and Lyft are widely available, but if you want to make the most of your time here, a rental car is ideal. IMPORTANT FOR GUESTS TO AGREE PRIOR TO BOOKING & CHECK IN, as we reserve the right to refuse service: Please do not ask us for a discount on cleaning as we are about paying a fair wage (please see ABB's guidelines on this) for you and your guest. *PLEASE CONFIRM with VALID PHOTO ID PRIOR and UPON CHECK IN (via Driver's License/ Passports / Military ID are ok etc - just as in a hotel stay) otherwise, your Full SECURITY DEPOSIT is NOT REFUNDABLE and your stay maybe denied. We understand if you don't want to do this but please don't ask us to make an exception as this is not personal ... just like if you check into a hotel - you are asked your ID and in this case, it is our home which is MORE precious than a hotel. Having a car will make things much easier. Los Angeles has UBER & LYFT!!! Download the App before you arrive! Please expect to wait on average 5 mins for an Uber/Lyft to arrive. PARKING: • Plenty of free street parking right next to the house for any type of vehicle. There is absolutely no parking restrictions, meters, or street cleaning. Pass through the electronic gate and private entrance and indulge in the complimentary snacks on the fold-out leaf table. Fine interior touches include antique heirloom artwork and a serving tray, while outside 2-level seating and a fire pit await. We follow rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocols from the CDC during COVID-19. We ventilate rooms, wash hands frequently, wear gloves, clean, then disinfect with bleach or 70% alcohol. Our cleaning crew focuses on frequently touches surfaces, incl light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, and faucets, and wash all linens at highest heat. Attention to detail prevails throughout the apartment. The craftsman style space includes custom cabinets, high/vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops and walk-in closet. Established trees can be viewed from the master bedroom picture window and private deck which gives the space a tree house effect. The space can comfortably fit up to 4 guests. We will provide a variety of organic breakfast items including coffee, orange juice, milk, cream, half & half, cereal, fruit, yogurt and breads/pastries. Wine will be available upon request. Guests have an electronic gate and their own private entrance.Guests have access to their own deck, complete kitchen and laundry facilities. Interaction with guests will be kept to a minimum in order to respect their privacy, however, we will be happy to assist any way possible to provide a great experience. We live in a separate location on site so we will be present during the guests stay. We love our neighborhood! If you love craftsman, California bungalow, custom and historical homes this is the place. There are parks, the Colorado Lagoon, Marine Stadium, 2nd Street with shops and great restaurants, and of course the beach all within walking distance. There are a variety of farmer's markets and in the summer local concerts in the park. There is public transportation (buses) nearby. There is plenty of street parking. We are conveniently located between LAX (25 minutes), Orange County (SNA) Airport (20 minutes) and Long Beach Airport (10 minutes). PLEASE BE AWARE OF STREET SWEEPING DAYS!! SIGNS ARE POSTED FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AM STREET SWEEPING. Admire the many historic craftsman and California bungalow homes in this tranquil neighborhood. Walk to the beach and catch a concert in the park. Note: the TV is an Apple TV to be used with your subscriptions. The studio is the entire bottom floor of a 3 story house. It has its own separate access through the garden and is completely private from the rest of the house. A bathroom, kitchenette, dining/study area are included within your studio space. Laundry and Apple TV available upon request. Garden space and access is shared. Enjoy the deck and outdoor dining and lounging facilities as well as a gorgeous sunset view of LA. The entire bottom floor of the house is yours. Garden access is shared, as are the laundry machines in the main house. We are available at all times by phone, text or email. Bordering the neighborhoods of Eagle Rock and Highland Park, the area has an understated charm and offers an array of vibrant restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Old Town Pasadena, a retail hub with charming eateries, is a short drive away. It is a 0.4 mile distance to the nearest bus stop on La Loma and Figueroa. (about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) The 81 Bus can take you to the Gold Line Metro in Highland Park in less than 15 min. The Gold Line runs between Pasadena and Downtown, where you can transfer to other trains. Please let us know if you would like an Apple TV set up for your arrival or at any point during your stay.
