A great location with many hiking trails nearby! Hike the blue trail , go fishing or kayaking on the many lakes in and around Wilderness State Park. 15 minutes from historic Cross Village, 20 minutes from the Mackinac Bridge, 30 minutes from beautiful Harbor Springs and the best skiing in the Midwest! Plenty to explore right out the door!

Larks Lake Cottage

Charming, year around cottage. Nothing beats being in the middle of our pristine lake or sitting on the deck watching nature in all her glory! And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!

LAKE MICHIGAN EARL YOUNG STONE COTTAGE

This lovely cottage is the creation of Charlevoix's legendary builder in stone, Earl Young. The year was 1929, and the Hollywood director, Norman Panama, commissioned Earl Young to build his summer get-away. Stars of the day, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope partied on the expansive estate-like grounds, with stunning views of Lake Michigan. The "Be Our Guest" cottage can be described as cozy; peaceful; relaxing; pet-friendly. Near beaches and downtown. Fully stocked kitchen and linens.

The possibilities are endless and the beauty is boundless whether you walk, bike, paddle, or drive.

The large field stone fireplace is perfect for cool evenings and the spacious screened porch is ideal for relaxing summer evenings with lake breezes.
