There are many nearby Towns: Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, Marshall, Hendersonville, Burnsville, Spruce Pine, Brevard, & even TN Towns! Seasonal fun is also near: Rafting, Hiking, Tubing, Fishing, Golfing, Biking, Biltmore Estate, Downtown Asheville, Snow Tubing, Snow Skiing & more! You might even see deer & turkey during your visit!

The Doe Branch Cabin - Modern Mountain Retreat

The cabin is situated on 12 private acres in a remote corner of Madison County, surrounded by national forest, streams, and clear mountain air. The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

*If it snows, you will need 4WD or AWD.* Jake's Cabin is a rustic private cabin located at Misty Hollow Roan Mountain Retreat. Please read the entire listing for detailed information and instructions for your stay. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom as well as a twin size bed in the semi-private loft. Bear Cabin sleeps 2 adults comfortably with up to 2 children. One on the twin in the loft and one on the futon in the living area. Please bring bedding for the futon if you plan to use.
