Crooked Cabin - Irondale River -Geocaching Capital

Located in the woods, watch the river flow by from any window, the porch or walk the trails. The main room has a leather loveseat, rocking chair and propane fireplace. The loft has a queen mattress. BBQ with side burner and all kitchen appliances are there. There is an outhouse. No shower. Wifi available on the property. Kayaks are accessed at The Nest which is the 2nd cabin (that you can't see). Firewood available for free. Incredible night skies. Space and privacy. A soul restoring getaway.

Step away from your busy life and fall into tranquility at Cabin28. An 1850’s built cabin situated on 4 acres of privacy with 2000 feet of clear riverfront swimming, fishing and kayaking. New custom deck and hot tub will allow you to relax and enjoy your retreat! Sit by the fire pit and enjoy a moonlit/star filled sky. Although this space has all the feel of a time long gone, its rustic charm has been updated with modern features to enhance your stay! Come enjoy an experience you won’t forget!

Mapleridge Cabin

On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from where you park.

Each cabin has its own fire pit and BBQ. Just 2 min from the sweet cottage town of Dorset, swimming and restaurants. Walk to the Scenic Tower! 30 min to Algonquin Park & Arrowhead. Snowmobile or ATV trails accessible right from your doorstep. Activities for every season or a relaxing break from the chaos of city, you pick!

Big Woody Cabin is the perfect setting to reconnect with the outdoors and each other. Ditch the treadmill and be present for a time. You and those most special to you can hike the woods, safely swim or paddle the tranquil motor-free lake, be awestruck by the night sky, enjoy the fire pit, share meals from the grill and/or gourmet kitchen, relax with an Adirondack and book on the floating or fixed dock or two story deck. Listen to the sound of the gentle rapids and birds singing as you reacquaint yourself with nature at this unique and tranquil getaway. Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is ideal for couples or solo travellers. Sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock.

Our cabin is surrounded by majestic forest and is just minutes away from Eagle and Pine Lake beaches! Enjoy the charm of staying in a stylishly decorated log cabin, delight in a cup of coffee and light continental breakfast on the porch overlooking the picturesque view of the forest. A short drive to Haliburton & Minden and a 5 minute drive to Sir Sam's Ski Resort. After a fun-filled day, craft meals in our fully stocked kitchen and relax by the fire pit. Truly a retreat!

Bill's Rustic Cabin; tour on pontoon boat to cabin

My rustic and simple cabin is perfect to be one with nature. It is a 5 minute boat ride to access the cabin (the boat ride to and from is included in the nightly rate). You’ll love my place because of privacy, serenity, sunsets, and all of the trees. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. It s on the lakeshore private with sunset view and private dock . A kayak and a canoe are available no extra charge but any damage is guest responsibility. (URL HIDDEN)

Little cabin in the woods

Small 14 x 14 cabin with a deck. Wifi available, heater, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, table, chairs and 2 bunkbeds. Outhouse nearby. Great place to sleep if you are going to be out all day hiking, geocaching, fishing, canoeing, atving, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or snowshoeing. South Algonquin Trails is a working horse farm. If you enjoy great people and horses then this is the place for you. Horseback riding is available on site.
