Our chalet is only a few minutes to Summersville Lake and the Gauley River. Large deck, with Picnic Table and Gas Grill. Fire pit. We are in the heart of whitewater rafting country, Zip lines, horse back riding, four wheeling and hiking. Minutes to Summersville, parks and restaurants. We have breathtaking views of the stars.

New River Cabins #1-River &Activities - 4 min away

Our clean & cozy cabins were built a few years ago in a private wooded area. Central location *4 minutes north of the New River *. Near ALL activities, rock climb areas, & 15 min to Gauley River/Summersville Lake. Cabins are furnished, full baths, kitchenette & sleep up to 8 ( 6 twin beds on 2nd floor & 2 twin beds in a common area (push together for a King). Also heat/AC. Each cabin has it's own fire ring & picnic table. Dog friendly w/ fee (**2 dogs max**-No cats) 50 #'s max per dog.

The 70,000 acre backyard is ideal for mountain bikers, hikers, bird watchers, trail runners, rock climbers, kayakers, and anyone who enjoys peace and quiet. Park your car, ride single track trails from the house. Kayakers will be half way between the put in and take out for the New River. Secluded feeling, yet Fayetteville is only 3 miles away via trail or car.

Situated only 3 miles from downtown Fayetteville and within 15 min of trails, rivers, and climbing, this idyllic space makes you feel like you are in your own little ecotopia. The yurt is nestled on 8 acres surrounded by gardens and the forest. It is built eco-friendly complete with a composting toilet which is incredibly easy to use. Large windows are situated to allow natural sunlight and cross breezes and the dome in the center of the roof lets you sleep under the stars at night.

New River Gorge National Park

Nice country setting. You are 10 minutes away from the New River Gorge Bridge and all that Fayetteville, WV has to offer. This includes, rafting, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, zip lines, paintball, etc... The buildind was originally a barn and it was converted into an office in 2008. It has recently been renovated into a 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom rental. The kitchen is well equipped, new appliances, and granite countertops. The patio is 14x45, screened-in, ceiling fans, and TV.

Situated in a quiet woodsy neighborhood just one mile from downtown Fayetteville, The Red Roost is an easy 10-15 minute drive to the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve with its amazing suspension bridge, whitewater rafting outfitters, rock climbing access, and hiking and biking trails. Remote work space available in Auxiliary Dwelling Unit "The Coop." Excellent Wi-Fi and private setting a few steps from main house make it perfect for getting work done in peace and quiet.

The cabin has everything you will need just bring your personal effects. We allow a well-behaved travel-savvy dog with a fee of $25 per day.
