The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of summer '25 - lake temporarily drained for long term repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. NO PETS or SMOKING - strict policy.

This luxurious mini-resort is features vintage touches and all the modern conveniences including full kitchen, washer/dryer, and fast wifi. Spend your stay by the waterfall and stream or venture out to hike in Pisgah National Forest, drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, or enjoy local shopping and dining. Pet friendly! Start your day enjoying coffee on the peaceful front porch in the rocking chairs, or an afternoon nap in the hammock, and then to downtown less than 10 minutes away to your choice of incredible restaurants, breweries and shopping!

Settle back in this lovingly updated cottage. Lake Summit is a 4 minute walk. Enjoy coffee on the screened porch & s'mores by the fire pit. Semi custom eat-in kitchen. Comfy queen beds, soft linens & towels. Picnic under the custom pergola. Play pickleball at Tuxedo Park. Flat Rock: 3 miles, Hendersonville: 8 miles, Travelers Rest: 22 miles, Asheville: 35 miles.
