Just 15 minutes from Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain State Parks, and 30 minutes from Winston-Salem, enjoy sunrise and sunset from our wrap-around porch, hot tub, or indoors. The open living space features floor-to-vaulted ceiling windows and wood-burning fireplaces. Accommodates 8-10 guests with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. New cleaning team. Our cabin is only 3 miles from Hanging Rock State Park, voted by USA Today as one of the “20 Stunning State Parks Across the USA.” The Dan River (walking distance) is home to kayaking, tubing, fishing, and white-water; and Pilot Mountain State Park is just 20 miles away!

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

The Playhouse at Klondike Cabins

The Playhouse at Klondike Cabins is located in the heart of the Yadkin Valley Wine Region. This rustic, 2-suite, authentic log cottage is filled with early American antiques and historic artwork. The smallest of our cabins, it features two bedrooms with one queen-sized bed, one full-sized bed, two full private baths and private entrances. You will find a large sitting area with sofa, chairs, fireplace, and a patio overlooking the Grassy Creek Vineyard and Winery Tasting Room.

Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, our cabin is the perfect place to relax and unwind. My husband and I spent many hours restoring the cabin into a beautiful retreat. We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do!
