It is a minute's walk to the town's fantastic restaurants, bars, grocery store, shops, the park, and even bocce courts! Beautiful and wild Centerville Beach is a scenic five mile drive away. Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

The Guesthouse

The Guesthouse is on a quiet street surrounded by decorative trees on 1/2 acre. There is a private entrance to the second floor space. This is a brand new building with hardwood floors, a full kitchen, double shower, and washer and dryer. The bedroom has a cal king Tempurpedic bed. There is also a large, southern facing deck to enjoy the sun and views of the apple trees and extensive landscaping. The Guesthouse offers private, quiet accommodations in a clean, modern space.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.

Our centrally-located Arcata home is a clean, fresh and airy 2-bedrom cottage newly built in 2022 with vaulted ceilings, a well-designed layout, stylish and comfortable interior, and 2 private garden patios. The fenced little property is just 5 blocks from Arcata Plaza, shopping, and food as well as walking distance to CalPoly. Plenty of street parking on a quiet road. No pets. No smoking.

The Reel ‘em Inn Studio B is a private one bedroom studio for a single traveler or traveling couple.
