'Waterfront' on 1796 Historic Farm

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem! The Springhouse is nestled in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia’s Wine Country! Originally constructed in the early 1800's, this structure was built over a natural spring and used for refrigeration. The water from the spring maintains a constant cool temperature throughout the year while also filling a pond. The original stone well, channel and stone flooring are all intact for guests to explore and experience how our ancestors lived.

Escape the crowded city! This luxury log home is an off-grid solar powered house, and is perfect for your next corporate retreat, or family getaway. It is very private in a heavily wooded area with beautiful forest views. The home is located at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain, and is walking distance to hiking trails. Pricing varies based on dates and length of stay. *Note: We do not allow large events at this property. The house septic and parking can't accommodate more than 25 guests.

Enjoy your stay in this fabulous pool house located in a quiet neighborhood. Relax poolside during the day and enjoy the outdoor bar and kitchen for cocktails at sunset. Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick. Perfect for a couple or solo traveler this destination is close to wineries/breweries and farm-to-table restaurants. Farm stands are not a far drive - delicious meats at Long Stone Farm and local goat cheese at Georges Mill are just a few of the favorites.
