This isolated house was an original homestead and head quarters of a working cattle ranch. Enjoy scenic views, star gazing away from city lights, a huge kitchen, guest house , walk in shower and a fenced yard. A great way to get FAR away for a couple or up to 10 guests. A 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beds for 6 people and plenty of space for a few more if sofa's or sleeping bags on the floor suits you. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest. Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay. Fully fenced in back yard so make sure to pack your well behaved dogs for your stay with us. See you soon!
