The Garden Retreat

The Garden Retreat is a self contained dwelling, at the end of our garden. In a quiet residential area of Dorchester, in the summer there may be some noise from the surrounding gardens. Access from the road, leads directly to the Garden Retreat. We are in easy walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the centre of Dorchester. here you will find Cafes, restaurants and shops Dorchester is an historic town, with many place of interest. No Visitors. No smoking or vaping, on the premises. No pets.

Batch Hut (Dog Friendly but just one please)

Wooden clad hut set in the heart of Upwey village, it’s similar to a Shepherd's Hut but slightly bigger. The hut is sited in a field only 3 minutes walk from two local pubs, set on the Jurassic Trail so country walks in abundance, 5 min drive to Weymouth Beach. This is ideally suited for those wanting down to earth but acceptable accommodation. Everybody who has stayed here has really enjoyed the country setting and although basic I have been told many times that the photos don't do it justice.

Private Guest Suite in Sutton Poyntz + own parking

We are a Modern Stone built cottage in beautiful village. Private secure gated parking for 2 guest cars. We love our local pub The Springhead which is 1 minute walk away, set around a duck pond with willow trees. There are numerous country and coastal walks nearby and we welcome dogs. We live upstairs but you are completely separate to us and left alone. There is 2 large bedrooms a kitchen equipped with small mini oven and microwave, bathroom inc bath and shower and comfortable lounge.

Romantic Shepherds hut with private garden

Nestled in a quiet wooded corner of our garden on the edge of the village of Martinstown. Fully self contained, the hut has everything you need inside and is in a great central location, close to Dorchester and just a short drive to Weymouth and Chesil beach. Fantastic walks, bike rides and lovely Jurassic coast beaches are nearby. We love to share our beautiful little corner of Dorset with both new guests and those of you have have stayed before. Weymouth town Centre, train station and Weymouth’s popular beach is a 20 minute walk through the RSPB nature reserve, where you will see swans, ducks & plenty of bird species. Pub, pharmacy & shop is only a 5 min stroll down the road.
