The Historic Masbury Station Signal Box, originally built in 1874 has now been sympathetically restored and converted to create an idyllic, remote getaway. The Pretty Shed, near Bath.

Rustic, self-contained building, at the top of my garden. Private, cosy space with double bed, hotplate, kettle, heater, tea & coffee, lots of books & magazines, and covered area for morning tea with the birds. Glamping for a fraction of the cost with electricity, but no running water. Water's provided in a 10l container, chemical flushing toilet in the same room. 20 mins from Bath, 20 mins from Wells, 30 mins from Bristol. Free road parking. Own car ideal, but 522 Bristol/Bath bus runs hourly.

Attractive Annexe in Frome House

Set in the Innox Hill area above Frome, the house is an eight-minute walk along the riverbank to the town centre. The large split-level guest annexe (56m2 or 600 sq ft) has 2 double bedrooms and sitting room with dining/work table, bathroom. The kitchen is downstairs. The annexe has its own entrance and terrace with table and chairs. You can be in fields within five minutes' walk. The house is up a hill and it is nearly 100 years old, so in stormy weather, you will hear the wind howling!

The Sewing Room Frome - Hosts Lisa and Jeremy

The house that Jeremy built.... and Lisa filled with sewing stuff! Designed and built by Jeremy as a wood workshop which was swiftly outgrown so it was remodelled as our home office with mezzanine floor, large ground floor window, insulation and heating. A second remodel took place summer 2022 to add a bathroom for guests to visit in this self contained versatile space with two double beds is suitable for a couple, 2 adults or family of 4 (older children). read on for more information-

Enjoy a break at the Hideaway, tucked on a hill with stunning views across the valley, surrounded by beautiful countryside & close to Shearwater Lake with its wonderful walks & great cycle paths. Positioned on the edge of the Longleat Estate and between the historic cities of Bath, Salisbury and Wells we are a stones throw from great independent shops, pubs, galleries & award winning eateries. Ideally located to enjoy Longleat, walk the Gorge at Cheddar or take a trip to the coast.

Lovely annexe: private bathroom, entrance & garden

A gorgeous and spacious double room annexe, with en suite bathroom, private entrance through french windows and facilities for simple cooking (microwave/toaster). A portion of the front garden, with table and chair, is entirely for guests' use. The room sits at the end of a detached period cottage, once an old weaver's cottage in the 17th century, overlooking the Longleat estate and thus beautiful views. There is free off-road parking and only a few miles to Frome or Warminster.
