Walk up the driveway into a storybook treehouse setting at our tiny cozy rustic cabin by the sea. Relax on one of the decks, enjoy the view, the resident wildlife, and the peaceful ambiance of the property. Bring your Kayak or use our canoe and launch right off our waterfront property. You need 2 people to launch the canoe. Our place is close to parks, restaurants and dining whether you paddle or drive. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and is pet friendly.

Maple Sunshine Oceanfront Upper Cottage

Top floor of cottage on the ocean with view across the straits to Nanaimo/Vancouver isl. Short ferry ride from the mainland. Located on the Sunshine Coast with incredible natural attractions and scenery. Ocean access directly in front of cottage. Skookumchuk Rapids is about 1 hour away. Gourmet dinning is just a 1. 2 kilometers walk away along the Ocean Beach Esplanade. Lots of kite and wind surfers, boats and barges pass in front of the house. Picnic on the beach and the sandbar out front.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.
