The cabin is highlighted by its spacious front porch with rocking chairs and swing to relax in while listening to the soft riffles of the creek. You can enjoy tubing, swimming, fishing, and late-night bonfires during your stay.

Hiking on the Appalachian Trail, fishing in the stocked trout stream, and picnicking and playing in the Whistle Stop Park are within a mile of the property. Tiny Cabin On Bent Mountain

Welcome to our tiny cabin on the mountain. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 490 sq ft cabin sits on 3 beautiful acres covered in fruit and nut trees. We just built this cabin in 2019 on land that once belonged to my great great grandmother. In fact, the peonies and apple trees on the property were planted by her. This cozy cabin has a bathtub with shower made from a steel horse water tank, a large mini fridge, and a convection oven. The outdoor pavilion is where we spend most of our time.

Buckeye Farm is located in the quaint village of Newport. You are only 15 minutes from Virginia Tech and 32 minutes from Radford University. Our log home is beautifully decorated and is situated on the property to have complete privacy. You are steps from the creek to fish or jump on one of the local hiking trails to see the most beautiful views of the New River Valley! Note: We do host weddings here but unfortunately that option isn't offered on this site.
