Our Lake Retreat is set to provide you with the most beautiful and serene setting possible, the home is located on a private lake, surrounded by the breathtaking Georgia Mountains and only 15 min. from the quaint alpine village of Helen, famous for their Octoberfest . Front porch, back deck, balcony, living area, reading room. Convenient to the highway, Piedmont University, downtown Demorest and Habersham Airport (KAJR). The interior has been fully remodeled. The outside retains the 1897 charm and space.

My place is close to Smoky Mountains, Helen, Tallulah Gorge, waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain lakes, hour from Atlanta, parks, great views, restaurants, art and culture. World class trout fishing just 20 minutes away, where I caught my 10 lb., 26" one! I welcome couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Popular hiking trails and waterfalls are just 3 miles away. Handicapped accessible, including shower. TV with dozens of DVD movies, no cable or satellite.
