The Bassett House, originally built in 1802, this large historic farmhouse was elegantly remolded in 2018. North Haven, CT is centrally located and just minutes from Yale, Quinnipiac, UNH, and SCSU as well as shopping, the best restaurants, hiking trails state parks and beaches, and many local attractions including various vineyards. Enjoy complete privacy and 900+ square feet of living space in the ground floor suite/apartment of our home. Complete with its own private entrance and personal garage - our ground floor suite is your own private domain. There is one king bed, one queen bed, and a comfy sectional couch. Enjoy a small kitchenette for simple cooking inside, and an alfresco BBQ for bigger cooking. There is plenty of living space inside and out! A new washer/dryer unit will take care of all the pool towels used!

We've carefully preserved historic aspects we love (ie: art deco tile & leaded glass windows), and combined it with central a/c, USB ports, new appliances, gas fireplace, high speed wifi & more. You’re also welcome to use the small screened in porch, patio with chairs, and the yard. The entire house and driveway is yours when you rent.

Workspace available. 1 bedroom w/ king bed. 1 bedroom w/ queen bed. 1 bedroom w/ 2 twin beds. Fully finished basement with 60inch TV, kids toys and fitness equipment/stationary bike. Deck and below deck hang out space. Though we aren’t living here full time, it’s still the place we call home, and we will use it when it’s not booked. Long stays welcome.

Welcome to The Cottage at Cedar Spring Farm located on a 16 acre working (in progress) farm bordered by 155 acres of protected land trust with marked hiking trails. Southford Falls and Kettletown State Park are within minutes for fishing, picnicking, and hiking. Conveniently located to I-84, shopping, local farms, wineries, breweries, restaurants, and Heritage Village. Please note that we allow pets (dogs only) and have a limit of two.
