Cozy Creek-Side Cabin

Small cabin in the woods with many seasonal uses. There is over 1000 adjoining acres of mixed forest & fields. Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

Private getaway in Chalk River on quiet Corry Lake. No neighbours in sight. Canoe, paddle board, swim, hike in the beautiful forest right next door, sit on the covered porch with lake view, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, or cook your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen :) Can work from home with WIFI and cell reception! Relax and enjoy our spacious, new build, two bedroom lower level private suite in one of Petawawas newest subdivisions. Private entrance and close to all amenities, including CFB Petawawa, CNL, restaurants, pharmacies, grocery store and parks. 1 King, 1 Queen size bed, along with a full size kitchen, stone counters and stainless steel appliances. Enjoy a complimentary Nespresso coffee or tea, as well as a few essentials to get you started during your stay with us.

Beautiful view with deck on the lake. Main floor is open concept kitchen (furnished), living and dining room. Full bath with shower. Master bedroom with queen. Wheelchair accessible. Second bedroom space upstairs with queen and single bed. Loft with 2 single beds. (see photos) Fully furnished cottage. (See "Booking, House Rules, Additional rules" for details.) Shared rowboat & canoe with life jackets are available. No pets.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
