Charming home with hardwood floors, leaded glass windows, and original details in the faculty neighborhood close to UW-L campus and Downtown. Are you visiting La Crosse to paddle, fish, hike, bike, or ski? With bluff views, the Bicycle Professor's Bungalow is close to it all. My home is a ten minute walk to the marvelous Marsh Trail system that links the University to Downtown. I will happily offer tips for restaurants, walks, bicycle rides and places to ski. The Driftless terrain is endless!

This private cottage sits on a 43 acre property, has a King sz. bed, fireplace, kitchenette, large deck, fire pit and more! Enjoy the onsite wooded hiking trails, golf across the highway at Ferndale Golf Club, enjoy the SE Mn. biking trail or tube/canoe/kayak the Root River- both only 2 miles away. Snowmobilers-jump right on the trail from the property!

Everything is brand new! Two spacious bedrooms, full bath & common space (includes a table with 4 chairs, smart tv, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster & coffee pot, and couch with ottoman). A screened in porch for bug-free outdoor seating and free off-street parking. This upper level space is centrally located in a family-oriented neighborhood in the heart of La Crosse: 7 blocks from UW-La Crosse, Viterbo & Mayo Health. 1.5 mi to Gundersen Health & 2 miles to downtown La Crosse.

The River Shack

Available year round. Perfect for a family get away or for hunters and fishermen. Full kitchen, 2 tables set up for eating. Large carport for parking under or sitting under if it is raining, you don't have to be trapped inside. Enclosed porch that looks out over the Great Mississippi River. Every sunset is beautiful!! Seating outside, firepit (bring your own firewood), swingset and sandbox for little ones. Also has your very own bar & TV. FYI. Property is by the rail road tracks.

La Crosse On the Mississippi (Netzer’s Landing)

We are on The Mighty Mississippi River. Your backyard. You can sit on your porch, shade deck, sun deck or walk out to the dock and enjoy your morning brew. In the evening you can sit out on the dock and view a beautiful sunset. Eagles are visitors to the area, as well as Great Blue Herons, river otters, muskrats, and varieties of ducks. This is truly a place for those who love to be on water. When the day is done come in to your home away from home. (Cleaning fees included.)
