Our secluded cabins are on top of a mountain with on-property access to the Doe Mountain Recreational Area. Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Camping, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. The 54 acre property has 0.4 miles of Helton Creek frontage (located a quarter mile away down the driveway), which boasts the best trout fishing in NC! **This cabin is up a steep road. As of 8-1-22 the difficult parts are now PAVED.
