Cozy Cabin along the River, close to EBT Railroad

The Duck Nest Tiny cabin is here for you to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and recharge in nature. 15 minutes to the East broad Top railroad, take a one of a kind Train Ride! Located right along the Aughwick river, it’s the perfect spot to bring your fishing pole, wade in the creek, or bring your kayaks. This is a small Private family campground style property, the cabin you will have all to yourself, and you will have access to the gorgeous fire pit area, Shuffleboard, and creek.

Sassafras Hollow

Enjoy a unique, disconnected glamping experience on our working family farm. The cabin is nestled in a copse of sassafras and white pine trees behind our art studio and greenhouses, accessible by path (approx. 100 ft.) from the parking spot behind the art studio. Relax on the porch, read a book from our library, play classic board games, listen to records, or explore local attractions such as Cowan's Gap State Park or the East Broad Top Railroad. Max. 2 people occupancy; check-in from 2-9Pm.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will have a view that shows no neighbors. Close to everything but it might as well be a thousand miles. It started as a place to let the horses catch a breath and a bite of grass and the riders a long gaze of the awesome view. Today our forth generation still enjoys the view from the front porch swing along with a guest list of exceptional size. Please come and enjoy our piece of paradise. Located within 30 minutes of downtown State College, the cabin has historic charm, modern amenities, and plenty of private outdoor space to relax. With three bedrooms, two full baths, fully stocked kitchen, multiple living areas and outdoor dining areas, the cabin has plenty of space for everyone. Very strict NO SMOKING rule.

The best view of Raystown Lake awaits you at the Crown Jewel Vista. This beautiful true log home sits atop Terrace Mountain on 142 acres that extend all the way to the water. This cabin boasts 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with spectacular views of the lake and beyond. With a 2000 sq ft patio. Features include a huge stone fireplace as the centerpiece of the house that extends from the basement through to the 2nd story vaulted ceiling.

Our cabin is full of luxury & serenity. Combine the peace and meditative beauty of the forest WITHOUT the roughing it, just a jaunt away from Happy Valley, walking distance to C.B. McCann, 25 minutes to Juniata college. The handcrafted sauna easily accommodates 4 people. We prepare the stove for your first burn and hope you’re deeply relaxed when you leave here.
