AIRD VILLA, Scalpay, on the Isle of Harris

Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Sandig is ideal as a base to visit such sites as the Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to two stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag, and is ideal for hillwalkers, cyclists, surfers, birdwatchers, or even those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .

Our beautiful wooden pods are set on the hillside behind the Cowshed Boutique Bunkhouse and enjoy amazing views across to the bay and the hilly surroundings of Uig. In a wonderful location to explore the Isle of Skye, The Cowshed is perfectly situated for enjoying spectacular sunsets in a peaceful setting. We have 7 pods available, and each of these cosy spaces is equipped with enough comforts for you to enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

Clachanach Beag

My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. In my croft I have Hebridean sheep and hens. Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).

4 Tobair Mairi is an excellent Studio apartment located in the heart of Harris in the old village of Tarbert next to all amenities such as hotels shops cafes marina sports centre and of course the famous Harris gin distillery. It is Ideally placed to explore all the beaches and scenery that Harris and Lewis has to offer and then return home to relax with a glass. This apartment is excellent for disabled travellers.
