Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Ideal for two people, this lake-front studio apartment is one within a four-plex, tucked away on a private drive in the countryside. This property is located on Old Highway 13 - between Murphysboro and Carbondale. You are right in the middle of many amenities and attractions sought after in the area - wineries, hiking, and SIU. A picnic table, charcoal grill, firepit, and string lights sets the outdoor space up nicely for a fun evening!

Our loft featuring two twin beds will be a KID FAVORITE and an adult's one-of-a-kind night stay! One spacious bathroom features a beautiful marble shower for your relaxation.

Forget your worries in this spacious apartment, the lower/first level of a 3-level house, a peaceful place at the woodsy end of a country lane, not far from two state parks, five lakes, wine trail, Southern Illinois University and other interesting features of this area. The 1st level apartment is large, has a kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms, living room/bedroom, a full bath, and a utility room, 2 exterior doors, one to a patio with a fire pit and charcoal cooker.

The Bitty Houses are perfectly located on the Shawnee Wine trail and on the property of the Peachbarn Winery & Café and includes a complimentary wine tasting. Full of cozy and simplistic comfort, your relaxing needs are fulfilled here with a bonus view of the second highest elevation in the state of Illinois. The highly revered Bald Knob 'mountain' is directly across the valley in front of The Bitty Houses and boasts the most gorgeous sunsets in the region.

Historic House in the heart of Altenburg

Stay in this historic 1911 house ("The Inn") in the heart of Altenburg. Walking distance to the Lutheran Heritage Center and Museum, The Bank Coffee Shop, and the Saxony Hills Brewery, this house is centrally located. Recently remodeled kitchen and bathrooms provide updated amenities along with five spacious bedrooms and living areas. This is a great home for family reunions, events, and spending peaceful nights in the country.

Cabin on the Wine Trail!

This cabin is in the village of Alto Pass, in the Shawnee National Forest and along the Southern IL wine trail. Adjacent to a Victorian home, it is a separate cottage, renovated in 2017-18, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, washer/dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, dining/living area, TV (Amazon/wifi), and deck with views of woods and valley. (The couch's foot rests work by plugging in the couch and are in good working condition.)
