On Jackson Lake, 1 hr from Atlanta, our cottage with private dock (with kayaks-two adult and one child size) is the perfect spot to unwind. With picture-ready furnishings, white cotton and linen bedding, and subtle antique decor, our cottage exudes a warm vibe that will make you feel right at home. Please note: no wild parties and no drug use. Our neighbors don't deserve to hear or smell any nonsense. Thank you!

Welcome to the Canary Cottage at Jackson Lake. You are welcome to do as much or as little as you wish to make your stay as memorable as possible. Enjoy the view from the dock of the beautiful lake as you grill out, swim, and enjoy water activities. You’ll feel relaxed and truly on vacation as you unwind on the Adirondack chairs. The custom home will add to your relaxation in a beautiful gourmet kitchen and luxurious bedrooms and bathroom. Family friendly and ready for you to make memories!!

Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

With large outdoor options for everyone, the deck and dock are perfect for morning coffee or sunsets by the fire pit. Lake access is available and water activities are provided.
