It sleeps 4, with 2 in the queen bed, 1 on the sofa, & 1 on the fold out mattress. Whether exploring our beautiful historic city (6mi north) or splashing in the ocean (7mi east), you can’t go wrong with a stay here on James Island, a charming barrier island of Charleston. We've prepared a private space in our pet and smoke-free home which includes one bedroom with a comfy queen bed, a full bath with shower/tub and a cozy TV lounge that offers a breakfast/work table and a coffee station with mini-fridge and microwave. You’ll find your rooms to be immaculately clean & fresh.

Cozy three-room suite, for 2 guests, attached to my home, with keyless entry on James Island situated halfway between Folly Beach and Charleston. Easy driving distance, about 4 miles, to both. Short drive to J Island County Park, restaurants and amenities. Parking available. Handicap Accessible. Dog Friendly (2 dog maximum). No cats. Includes one spacious bedroom, sitting room and private bath. Coffee, snacks and drinks provided. Dedicated to making all guests feel welcome and comfortable.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

Cottage Under the Oaks

A lovely studio centrally located on James Island, The Cottage is about 5 miles to Folly Beach or Downtown. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and almost everything on the island is within a few miles. *No children under 13 without prior approval.* **We do have a 30-day minimum during some dates. If you need a shorter reservation and your dates aren’t showing as available, message us and we’ll see if we can make it work.** Permit Number: OP2024-05670

We're nestled in a small eclectic neighborhood less than 3 miles from the sandy shores of Folly Beach and just 7 miles from historic downtown Charleston. The cottage sits by a tidal creek that flows in and out of the Folly River with marsh views, lots of bird watching opportunities, and the most amazing sunsets around.
