Hereford Cottage

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

Enjoy the abundant birdsong from our cozy, rustic cabin set in a rural landscape amongst native bush, within 10 easy minutes of Whitianga township. Fully s/c with everything you need for your stay, centrally located so you can take in all that the Coromandel has to offer. Unwind in front of the fire pit, or enjoy a short bush walk. Activities such as golf, fishing, world-renowned beaches, thermal day spa and river swimming are nearby. Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove approx 30 min drive.

Created with flair & love by its on-site hosts, offering the traveller a modern, luxury, self-contained option to busy motels/hotels ensuring a great nights sleep after a busy day. Centrally located, within a short walk to launch your kayak in one of the canals, or alternatively a short flat cycle or drive to gorgeous Buffalo beach, the town center with its assortment of cafes, restaurants, shops etc, only a couple of minutes commute.
