Hidden in the centre of one of the most desirable places to live in England. The Outhouse Bothy is a one bedroom dwelling. The first thing you ll notice is the ancient (uneven) curved stone staircase, not really suitable for children. The ground floor has a dinky kitchen, microwave, small fridge, kettle, toaster & of course a kitchen sink (great excuse not to cook) The first floor bedroom opens out to a sun trapped terrace with adjoining WC & shower room. Able to accommodate 3 guests (3rd guest with an additional charge) with a unique 'reading nook' which can be made into a small single bed for a young child. Babies up to 2 years old are welcome (free of charge) with a travel cot and high chair supplied. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be made available.

It is a 50 metre walk from the parking area to the Lodge. There is free Wifi in the Lodge and good mobile signal. This place is a retreat for you to truly unwind, relax & get away from it all, or use as a base for exploring the local area and the Lake District. Unfortunately it is not suitable for children or infants.

The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is situated a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the homes private driveway.
