Beautifully remodeled with hilltop views and secluded river access it's the perfect place to relax after all your outdoors adventures- or just enjoy the peace of the area right from the backyard. We're in the heart of Michigan's Outdoor Paradise: Fishing, Kayaking, Hiking, Mnt Biking, ORV, Skiing, and Snowmobiling are just some of the area highlights! You'll be minutes away from several lakes, more rivers, and trails.

Drive Snowmobilers: Peacock Trail Cabin is on trail #3! Peace & quiet seekers: The quiet up here is amazing!

Come and relax at this peaceful lakeside cabin nestled in the Manistee National Forest. It’s located on Lake Cecilia, a 60-acre no-wake lake in, with miles of ORV adventure, and right next to Big Star Lake, an all sports lake with public access. Although remodeled, the original charm remains with exposed log walls, knotty pine trim and an overall rustic feel. Come see what life in the Michigan north woods has to offer! NOTE: water trampoline has been replaced with a 20’ swim raft.

Our cabin is located less than 1/4 mile from ORV, ATV, biking and seasonal Snowmobile Trails. Access is from the drive way. Fishermen and paddlers will find the renowned Pere Marquette River less than 3 miles away. Let us host your true “Up North” getaway!

Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

This cabin is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, family vacation, or outdoorsman paradise; close to the Pine River where you can enjoy world class trout fishing and some of the best kayaking in the lower peninsula. A short drive will take you deep inside the Huron-Manistee National Forrest. Close to many snowmobile, ATV, jeep trails, North Country Trail, and Silver Creek Pathway.

With a total of 2.5 acres and ¼ mile of frontage on the Little South Branch of the Pere Marquette River, this property is one-of-a-kind. The single-family home is located on a private peninsula with a grassy yard and few neighbors. This updated vacation rental has a full kitchen, full bath, two bedrooms and is located down a private gravel driveway conveniently located off the highway.

Pere Marquette Lumberjack Cabin

This rustic 3 bedroom cabin is nestled on the banks of the historic Pere Marquette "National Scenic River", offering direct access to amazing trout fishing in crystal clear water with a spectacular view of the river from the cabin. It is one of a cluster of cabins on the Fly's Only (No Fly Zone) zone of the PM river. I have two cabins on the 1/2 acre property.
