Lake Escape - Rumbling Bald Waterfront Lake Lure

Beautiful 3,600+ sq ft three story lakefront home is on main Lake Lure and located behind the gate in fabulous amenity-rich Rumbling Bald Resort! This 5 bedroom 4 bath stunner is on large private lot walkable to members-only resort featuring spa, 3 pools, beach, tennis courts, golf, restaurants, and fun events. Enjoy the new hot tub and firepit or host movie night on big screen. Only 18 steps down to sandy swim area, SUP's, and kayaks. Rent a boat and moor it the dock! Pets ok but $175 fee each.

It is close to Hendersonville/Asheville area, between Tryon, Columbus & Lake Lure, NC.

Welcome to Lake Escape! A newly renovated home tucked away on a quiet, private cul-de-sac, in the beautiful Lake Osceola community. A quick Walk to the lake, swim, fish, launch your kayak or canoe...the lake is yours to enjoy. Ideally located, just two miles from downtown Hendersonville and a short drive to Asheville. Dining, shopping, breweries, vineyards and hiking are just minutes away. Modern decor, fast WIFI, a private hot tub and beautiful Lake Osceola make Lake Escape a perfect getaway.

Maggie's Lake House

Private - Quiet and secluded neighborhood on Lake Bowen with dock & lake access. Enjoy spacious house with private 20x40 in-ground swimming pool, dock for fishing and boating, large decks & charcoal grill make for a great BBQ day! 2 kayaks provided! If you plan to bring your own boat to use from Maggie's dock, contact the Lake Bowen Warden Office to obtain boat sticker. Boat rentals are also available. Starting June 15, 2021-Spartanburg County Occupancy tax is 3% for each night.

Idle Speed- The Ultimate Lake Lure Escape!

As of now, Lake Lure is not expected to be open for boating and/or swimming by summer 2025 as lake recovery and cleanup efforts are still ongoing. However, our home is good to go and ready to host. We have just reduced our rates and minimum booking nights to reflect the expected conditions. The house remains a wonderful place for gathering and creating memories. The lake and mountains are still as beautiful as ever. Thank you for your continued support of such a special small town.
